Professor in Structural Mechanics, Head of Division of Structures, Materials and Geotechnics Department of Civil Engineering Aalborg University
Professor at Aalborg University in Structural Mechanics, and Head of Division of Structures, Materials and Geotechnics. Main research interest are applied structural mechanics with special focus on computational methods i.e. Finite Element. Has published several papers on non-linear Finite Element Analysis, Optimization methods and applications on large structures. Lately focus has also included Structural Health Monitoring where successful results have been obtained within detecting damages in wind turbine blades.
